Privacy & disclaimers

How we handle information — and what our content is (and isn't).

Plain-English statements on privacy, data use, and the limits of guidance on this site.

1. What we collect

When you complete a form on this site we collect the details you submit — typically your name, email, agency, licence status and a description of how we can help. We also collect basic analytics (pages viewed, device type) to improve the site.

2. How we use it

Submitted information is used only to respond to your enquiry, scope a potential engagement, and (with your consent) send you AML/CFT updates relevant to real estate. We do not sell, rent or trade your information.

3. How we store it

Enquiry data is stored in our CRM and email systems, protected by access controls, MFA and encryption in transit. Records are retained no longer than necessary to service your enquiry and meet our own record-keeping obligations.

4. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email privacy@compliance1.example and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

5. Cookies

We use only the cookies necessary to operate the site and to measure aggregate usage. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

6. Compliance disclaimer

Content on this site — including articles, checklists, templates and FAQs — is general information about AML/CFT obligations affecting real estate businesses. It is not legal, regulatory, tax or financial advice and must not be relied upon as a substitute for advice tailored to your circumstances. Always engage Compliance1 or qualified counsel before acting.

7. Third-party links

Where we link to supervisor websites, government registers or third-party tools we do so for convenience. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or privacy practices of external sites.

8. Changes

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
